Doctor of Occupational Therapy

I grew up in the small town of Darlington, SC home of the race track that is “Too Tough to Tame”. I earned my Doctorate in occupational therapy from Wingate University, Wingate NC in 2022. In 2018, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC. My passion for working with the youth began in high school while babysitting and participating in multiple local hospital volunteer programs. That passion expanded greatly when I entered college while working as an ABA line therapist for children with ASD. Following my undergraduate chapter, I became a full-time early interventionist, servicing families of children ages 0-5 with developmental delays and disorders through IFSP and FSP. In my last year of graduate school, I continued my work in pediatrics through my doctoral capstone with a focus on evidence-based therapeutic strategies via a website that helps parents combat maladaptive behaviors in children ages 0-3. Being a Gamecock alumnus, I consider Columbia a second home. I am elated to be a part of the CCTG team as a new OT! I am excited to establish a fun, loving, and constructive environment that the kiddos will enjoy!
